Weddings & Civil Unions

From $500

For the love of a commitment.

Whether it be intimate and tender, or a rollicking good party, a wedding ceremony best reflects you as a couple and your shared vision for your future together.

You might want to include ceremony elements such as handfasting, vows and the exchanging of rings. As a registered celebrant, I take care of the legal requirements and we can shape the rest!

Sometimes we want to mark the most momentous of occasions in quiet and simple ways. Elopements are private ceremonies that allow you to focus on what matters; each other.

Funerals & Life Celebrations

Price by negotiation

For the love of a life well-lived.

Funerals and end of life services, sometimes untimely and unexpected, are an opportunity to grieve, cherish, cry, laugh and heal. Mostly, they are about honouring the life of a loved one, together.

I can work with you to create a ceremony that reflects your values and beliefs, bringing beauty into this time of heartache.

 FAQs

  • Great question! I am a firm believer that personal connection is key to delivering a meaningful ceremony. That’s why I offer a free initial meeting/zoom to get a feel for each other before you commit to my services. If you find another celebrant who feels more suited, I encourage you to go with them. If you’d like to work with me I’ll be delighted! If I don’t think I can deliver what you are looking for, I will be honest with you.

  • After our initial no-cost meeting, my wedding service includes:

    • Designing a personalised ceremony for you and your partner

    • Supporting you in the writing of your vows

    • A meeting prior to the ceremony to confirm the details (this may be via zoom if out of region)

    • Being available via phone and email as required

    • Attending a rehearsal

    • Conducting your ceremony (I like to arrive nice and early to make sure everything is ready)

    • Completing and lodging the legal paperwork to fulfil your marriage or civil union

  • For the private and practical, I offer a registry-style elopement ceremony which is the legal marriage ceremony in a simpler format. This service is for small groups of up to 10 people, including the couple and photographer. Beyond the first free consult, it does not include additional meetings or rehearsals.

  • You will need to apply for the marriage or civil union license yourselves. This can be done online within 3 months from the wedding date and should not be left too close to the ceremony date. I recommend applying for a marriage certificate at the same time as this becomes legal proof of your marriage.

On the day of the ceremony, you (the couple), two witnesses and I will sign the legal paperwork. I will lodge this with the Registrar.

  • I require a 50% deposit prior to commencing the design of your bespoke ceremony. This deposit is non refundable. The balance is due 1 week prior to the ceremony. I will provide an invoice and reminder.

Funerals are often unexpected and the payment schedule can be negotiated.

  • That depends on the details of your ceremony. Talk to me about what you vision is and we can come to an arrangement. Depending on the ceremony distance from my home, I charge an additional amount for travel.

  • Yes! I am happy to travel for your ceremony. There may be additional costs, but get in touch and we can see what’s possible.
